A Shout Out to our Winter Heros

As the sun sets on another winter season we thought it would be a great time to say a huge thanks to some of the unsung mountain heroes.

We’re not going to lie, the winter of 2016/2017 won’t go down in history books for great snow conditions. Europe has had a bit of a stinker, it’s been warm and dry for the most part. According to InTheSnow magazine the Pyrenees have faired much better than other mountain ranges but it’s still been a little sketchy.
Leaving our mark as usual
Having said that we’ve still had some great ski days (even a bad day on the piste is better that a great day in an office) this winter mostly thanks to some awesome work by our winter heroes…. The Pisteurs.
They’ve made snow at the top of the resorts and moved it to the lower slopes, they’ve groomed, they’ve dug chairs out (high winds with snow dumps are also tricky!) and generally kept our wonderful pistes in tip top condition.
