Eastern Pyrenees - 7 Day cycling tour. Girona and Bagnères-de-Luchon

​Starting at Hotel Mas Pelegri, Serinya. Province of Girona, Spain.

Arrival:

Collection at Girona airport or train station. Transfer to Hotel Mas Pelegri for a welcome drink.
Build your bike or be fitted to your rental bike, followed by a self guided shake down ride of 20-37kms.

Day 1:

Choice of four rides into the Volcanic National Park. 50km, 60km, 85km or 111kms, which includes an optional climb of Rocacorba.

Day 2:

Two options: 100km loop into Girona over Els Angels climb, or 100km to the Med and back.

Day 3:

SAG supported ride to La Seu d’Urgell. 177kms of mostly small quiet country roads. (3702m). Options for shorter routes of 100kms or 150kms. La Seu d’Urgell overnight.

Day 4:

SAG supported ride over the Pyrenees to The Free Range Chalet in Bagnères de Luchon, France. 160kms (3454m). Options for shorter routes of 100kms or 120kms.

Day 5:

Luchon, Col de Menté then Col des Ares. 95km (1595m), option of Portet d’Aspet or Port de Bales back to Luchon. 130km (2828m).

Day 6:

Luchon, Col de Peyresourde followed by the loop connecting the Col d’Aspin and the Horquette d’Ancizan, 110km (3274m).

Day 7:

Optional short valley loop up to the testy Hospice de France climb - With cafe stop at the top (35km - 855m).

Departure:

Transfer to Toulouse airport.
This tour can also be reversed, starting in Bagnères-de-Luchon and finishing at Hotel Mas Pelegri, Girona.

Price:

• Price is 1199 euros.

• Single supplement is 300 euros.

• Barcelona airport transfers supplement of 200 euros.

Price is based on twin occupancy, half board, pick up Girona airport/train station, 3 nights at Hotel Mas Pelegri, 1 night in La Seu d’Urgell, 3 nights at Free Range Chalet. 2 days fully SAG supported. 5  days self guided. Cancellation Policy:

When booking coached or guided camps with Girona Cycling S.L. a non refundable deposit of 25% is required when making a booking. The full payment for the whole camp must then be made 1 month before arrival and is then non refundable from 1 month before arrival. Please take out the necessary travel insurance when making a booking.
